Robert Franklin Howard Obituary
Robert Franklin Howard, 71, of Plain City, died Monday, May 5, 1997 at 3:53 a.m. in the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Dayton.
Born May 26, 1925 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky he was a son of Fred and Ethel (Davis) Howard.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having serviced in the South Pacific during WW II, and was a member of the Darby Chapter, V.F.W. Post No. 3268, Plain City.
Survived by wife, Jeannette (Ross) Howard; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and David Deck of London, Beachie Bussey of London, Tracy and Douglas Daniels of Raymond; son, Robert Lee Howard of Plain City; sisters, Ruth Nelson of Worthington, Kentucky, Betty Hutchinson and Roseann Fryer, both of Ashland, Kentucky; grandchildren, Trisha Bussey, David Covert, Heather Howard, Holly Howard, Katie Daniels and Bailey Daniels; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Morgan Reece; step-grandson, Jayson Daniels.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Howard; grandson, Daniel Covert.
The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH AND DODDS FUNERAL HOME, London, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m., where services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 7 with the Rev. Mark Barth of the Newport Church of Christ Christian Union officiating. Internment will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery.
